What recent guests emphasize

Balanced comfort with convenient transit access

Recent guests highlight the hotel’s spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff, along with its prime location near the Green Line T stop. Some note practical drawbacks such as noise from thin walls and an imprecisely communicated destination fee.

Guests often praise

  • Friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff creating a positive service experience
  • Clean, spacious rooms with modern and comfortable furnishings
  • Convenient location directly across from the Green Line light rail station
  • Comfortable atmosphere even with nearby light rail noise, which many find unobtrusive
  • Well-maintained event spaces praised for professionalism and smooth management

Worth knowing

  • Rooms have thin walls, causing some noise disturbances; white noise machines help mitigate this
  • The air conditioning system can be noisy and lacks fine fan speed control
  • A daily destination fee applies, usable at on-site dining and amenities, but communication about this fee is sometimes unclear at check-in
  • Breakfast service has occasional supply shortages and layout issues impacting guest convenience

Solid hotel with great staff and service. We did have a little hiccup with our room reservation being cancelled because our flight arrived at 4:00am and we checked in so late, but it was quickly reinstated by the friendly night staff who offered a drink and snacks from the convenience kiosk while we waited free of charge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the light rail cruising by offered a nice atmosphere (it really wasn't loud, it was cool). My main complaint is that the beds are harder and thinner than a lot of hotels in this price range. I don't know if it was specific to our disabled accessible room or in all rooms. The amenities and rooms were set up great and had some really unique accessibility features.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and always have a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is close to a train stop making it easy to arrive by train or to head downtown. From this hotel I have also walked to/from Boston College (about 20 minutes).

New clean facilities in a good location near MBTA T stop. Room is good but air conditioning system is so bad. Very loud noise and no fan speed control(only auto or 3 speed(max)). This hotel has a destination charge($25 per day) but you could use $25 at breakfast restaurant, market, and bar. However, they didn't tell me about destination charge when we checked in. So, I could use only $25 when I checked out. I found that there are destination charges for 2 day in my folio but $25 credit is not transferred to next day. Parking is easy with EV charger(but very slow. 24V for my Model Y)

The staff were amazingly warm and welcoming! I’m a long standing Bonvoy member and service has changed a bit in the last few years but I cannot say enough good things about the staff and hotel! Great location if you’re looking to be close but a bit away from downtown Boston and the rooms are impeccable! Can’t wait to return!

Rooms: 5|Service: 3|Location: 3 The rooms are not bad actually. Even though walls are very thin, (seriously, you could hear someone fart or speak in the next room) they now have good white noise machines to help drown out the noise. My only complaint this time is that every time I visit this hotel, the breakfast is a hot mess. They run out of food, coffee mug, etc., and the utensils are on a separate table and have to be handed to you. Why?

On this cold night, I checked in at the hotel front desk with my child. I was very happy to meet Rachel&Sandra at the hotel front desk. They were all very friendly and comforting, and I really need to thank them. Sandra was kind, enthusiastic, and advanced in people-oriented communication and arrangements. She was great, and I fully felt the high level of Marriott Hotel reflected by her. The front desk also sent snacks to my children and we were really happy and appreciative of their thoughtfulness. Thank you for her arrangements!

Disclaimer: I gave 'Rooms' a 5 because our event room was lovely, but we did not stay in the guest rooms so I have no feedback to provide there. I attended the graduation dinner event for Washington Square Academy at this hotel last week, and I think the team did a lovely job as hosts. My background is in hospitality, so my standards are high, and they cleared the bar with ease. There were no tech mishaps or need for creative solutions. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the space was clean and inviting, and the food was well presented/well monitored/and quickly cleared all without causing a disruption to the event proceedings. I would absolutely recommend the AC Hotel Boston Cleveland Circle if you're looking to host a 80-100 person event that sets a classy and welcoming tone. Great job, team!
